Knitting our way through SXSWi 2008

This will be my 7th SXSWi and as usual, I am totally jazzed about it.  I have met friends, heroes, icons, podcasters, bloggers and other knitters at SXSW and that's just part of the awesomeness of this event.  I live just outside Austin, so I'm a local if you need to know anything about the area.  I work for a state agency as a web geek.  I knit for fun.  If you see me knitting in one of the panels, say hi.  If you want to get together to knit, heck, just jump on here and say so.

Last year I organized a SXSWi Knitter's Meetup at the LYS which was a ton of fun, but this year I did not have the time to do it again.  This wiki is an alternative, ad hoc way for us to find one another and share resources.

Ask for an invite and I'll give you the key.

Hi I'm megan. this is my 3rd or 4th sxswi. i work as a graphic designer at the university of texas. now that ive been to sxswi a few years, i question my reasoning of why i haven't been attending from the beginning. i look forward to seeing friends that come in for it from NYC, Chicago, Kentucky (yep they come here too). I always get over to the Flat Stock show (where my Kentucky friends show their printmaking work) and frantically try to fit in as much as i can. I'm a knitter too. 2 years now. (hi knitter) Currently i'm knitting beer coozies with animal-like appendages...if that makes any sense. really it just frightens me. see you there!
